Privacy Policy

Shippy tracks parcels you add manually, scan, paste, import from shared links, or import from connected mailbox sources. We collect only the data needed to run parcel tracking, account sync, billing, notifications, and support.

Data we collect

Account data includes your email address, sign-in provider, user ID, subscription status, and app preferences. Parcel data includes tracking numbers, carrier codes, titles, delivery statuses, ETA values, tracking history, maps derived from tracking events, archive status, and alert preferences. Import data can include mailbox OAuth tokens, forwarding tokens, parsed Amazon shipment emails, and diagnostic scan results.

How we use data

We use data for app functionality: authentication, cloud sync, package refreshes, premium entitlement checks, delivery alerts, Amazon import, barcode scan workflows, calendar/share exports, and customer support. We do not sell personal data.

Service providers

Shippy uses Firebase for authentication, database, hosting, cloud functions, and push messaging; Stripe and Apple/RevenueCat for payments and entitlement sync; Google sign-in and AdMob where enabled; and tracking, geocoding, and translation providers to power parcel features.

Ads and tracking

Free users may see ads. Any App Store privacy answers should include the data practices of third-party SDKs integrated into the app, including ad and authentication SDKs. Shippy should not request cross-app tracking unless the app is explicitly configured to do so through Apple's App Tracking Transparency flow.

Deletion and retention

You can delete your account from Settings in the web or iOS app. Account deletion removes Shippy parcels, preferences, mailbox connections, forwarding tokens, notification devices, and shared links from Shippy systems. Payment processors may retain transaction records they are legally required to keep.
